37 days of paid holiday
Every full-time employee is offered 25 paid vacation days per year. We close the studio for two weeks every summer to give you the possibility to rewind quickly and be able to focus 100% on your family and loved ones and don’t worry about missing out on anything work related. Plus Swedens paid bank holidays this makes up to 37 vacation days per year. Sound working hours
Our flextime schedule makes it possible for our employees to manage their starting times and working hours. Since we consider consistent overtime a sign of poor management we do everything in our power to keep everyone’s working weeks to 40 hours. After major deliveries we offer compensation leave or paid overtime, if we failed in doing this. Training and health
Avalanche believes in a good work-life balance, and offers a generous individual training allowance. On top of that we offer free group training activities every week in Yoga, Kick Box, Badminton, Floorball and Football. All is during work hours.
We also offer massage every third week and fresh fruits every day, stress and healthcare workshops and are open to do even more if individual team members wants to start up a new sport activity group.
We encourage internal and external workshops and seminars in order to deepen our knowledge base in the company and we offer free Swedish language courses for interested. State of the Art Facilities
The Avalanche Studios Head Quarters feature demo rooms and sound studios as well as a recreational zone for gaming, two kitchens with fully stocked drinks fridges, several meetings rooms and our trademark open plan development floor that keeps everyone completely accessible. Regular social events
Members of Avalanche Studios regularly get together for a wide variety of events. These include traditional Swedish “Fika”, Friday beers, movie or gaming nights, and family events like our annual Summer party. Pension Program
Sweden offers a generous state regulated pension program to everyone working in Sweden. In addition to that, Avalanche Studios offers an extra pension program, where a percentage on top of your monthly salary is saved for your pension. Unique support for parents and families
If you have or plan to have a family, children are a high priority in the Swedish social welfare system. Paid parental leave upto 480 days and state-funded child allowances and free schools are examples of this. Excellent medical and dental care accessible to everyone
A high standard health care is accessible to everyone living in Sweden and because of tax subsidies; both medical and dental care costs are limited. Medical and dental care for children upto 18 is free of charge. Members of Avalanche Studios also get a free vision screening and glasses if needed. Yearly salary reviews
Each position within Avalanche Studios is evaluated and assigned a competitive salary level based on job responsibilities. Salary levels for positions take into account the skills and education required to do the job, the demand for those skills and education required in the local job market. Salary ranges are reviewed annually to maintain a competitive position within our industry to ensure you stay motivated and feel rewarded. Well developed and affordable Commuting system
The commuting system in Stockholm is well developed and because of tax subsidies you only pay 790 SEK/month for a commuting card for bus, subway and commuting trains. You can travel far outside of Stockholm, even to the beautiful archipelago, with your commuting card. “Allemansrätten” is of course very unique for Sweden which makes it easy and tempting to go seeing all the green areas close to the city.
